Tomorrow, August 31st, Stratford ESL will take a field trip to the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing. At the "Money Factory", as it is known, we will watch a film about currency and take a tour of the facility. The tour is free, so you don't need any money unless you want to buy something from the gift shop.
We will meet at the Smithsonian Metro Station on the Blue, Orange or Silver lines at 10 a.m. and walk together to the Bureau. Be sure to exit the station toward the National Mall. If you exit toward the Dept. of Agriculture, you will be on the wrong side of the street. The weather is supposed to be nice, but be prepared for anything! If you bring your camera, we'll take some pictures. See you tomorrow!

Field Trip to Smithsonian Folk Life Festival
Students from StratfordESL are going to visit the Smithsonian Folk Life festival, tomorrow, July 6th, 2017. We are going to take the Metro and meet at Smithsonian Metro Station at 10:30. There are two exits from the station, so be careful to use the exit which says "National Mall." We will meet at the top of the escalator and walk from there. We will be walking around the National mall, so you should wear comfortable shoes. It might rain, so you need to bring an umbrella. If it rains, we can go inside a nearby museum. You can bring food and water if you want to have lunch. You can also bring your camera if you want to take pictures.
